The beginning of my journey

Spring 2017

Spring of 2017 was the beginning of my Ceramic journey. A transformation within me happened, going from 2D art work to 3D. The feeling of the clay and the patience it took taught me a lot that semester. One cannot work too fast nor too slow. This semester I began my exploration with the human face. My goal to make these ceramic heads in Awareness to how cancer does not discriminate, how a newborn can be born with the disease up to an elderly person.
