Adilene I. Rosales a Rio Grande Valley based artist. Working on her Bachelors of Arts at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and minoring in Psychology. She has a mission in bringing awareness to Childhood Cancer through her art. Cancer was part of Rosales' life growing up, losing her mother and three aunts to breast cancer and her best cousin to Sarcoma her thoughts were that cancer just affected adults. However she came to realize that childhood cancer is more common than one realizes, which is what inspired her to be the voice for the children whom have survived, are currently battling or have gained their wings too early because of this terminal disease.
